I went to Ottawa, Canada in the winter of '08 & '09 to photograph this most beautiful owl. These were very difficult pictures to take for a Florida girl in -20 degree weather with a big lens, heavy clothes & walking through deep snow, but I would do it again. Texas has some of the most beautiful & colorful birds. Here are a few that I was lucky enough to find. Most of these birds were taken on the Martin Ranch. If anyone what to have a great Texas bird photography experience, I highly recommend the Martin Ranch in southern Texas as the place to go.
